Store Classes

The Gypsy Goddess offers in-store classes on various subjects.  Prices for these classes vary depending on length of class and materials provided by us.  Go to Upcoming Events for dates and times of these classes.  See "Upcoming Events" for class schedules.

Tarot Class:

The Tarot Class is a six session course designed to give the student a comprehensive understanding of both the major Arcana, and minor Arcana cards.  Students will learn the symbolism and correspondence of each card and the meaning of both.  Students will be taught several types of spreads and when to use each type.  Each student will perform numerous divinations and tarot readings during the class period.  Student will use the Rider Waite tarot deck for this class.

Astrology Class:

The Astrology Class is a ten session course designed to train the student to prepare, interpret, and understand astrology charts.  Course material will cover; the house systems and the meaning of the 12 houses, zodiac signs and their meaning, planetary influences, Aspects including conjunctions, oppositions, squares, trines, sextiles, nodes of the Moon, etc.  Students will prepare both natal charts and progressed charts.

Magic Correspondence Class:

The Magic Correspondence class is a three session class designed to provide the student with an understanding of various categories of correspondence used in magick and how to apply them.  Topics covered will include correspondence of the Tree of Life, including both the Saphira and the Paths, plant correspondence, zodiac and planetary correspondence, planetary hours and names, numerology, planetary virtues, and much more. 

Talismanic Magic Class:

The Talismanic Magic class is a nine session class designed to teach the student how to design, construct, and consecrate magic talismans and amulets.  Topics covered will include talismanic images and symbols, sigils, using the Kameas, ritual jewelry, wax modeling, casting metals and mounting precious and Semi- precious stones.  Student will have the opportunity to make ritual jewelry for themselves during this class.

Skrying Class:

The Skrying class is a five session class designed to develop the students intuitive awareness and to help him/her to disassociate the conscience mind and connect with the collective conscious.  Topics covered will include; the concept of the collective conscious, tattwas and mantras, skrying mirrors and bowls, remote viewing, etc.  Students will make a skrying bowl and tattwa.

Herbal Class:

The Herbal class is a four session class designed to teach the student to prepare a wide variety of herbal remedies.  Students are introduced to numerous healing plants and their properties, shown how to harvest and prepare the plants, and how to make blends, teas, decoctions, capsules, lotions, and salves.  Students will learn how to prepare a first aid kit of the most often used herbal remedies.
