Licenses
Every digital design purchased from The Gypsy Goddess Studio — including Photoshop brushes, Procreate brushes, seamless patterns, backgrounds, vector sets, templates, and fonts — comes with a license. This page explains what each license allows, so you know exactly how you can use what you buy.
Commercial & Extended Licenses
Most products come with two license tiers, selected at checkout:
Commercial License — Use the design in up to 5,000 physical or digital end products for sale. Includes use on one business social media account, unlimited printed materials for local advertising, and digital ads with unlimited impressions. Does not cover use in apps, web apps, or games.
Extended License — Use the design in up to 250,000 physical or digital end products for sale. Includes unlimited business social media accounts, unlimited printed and digital advertising worldwide, and use in one app, web app, or game (up to 250,000 downloads/sales).
Font Licenses
Fonts are licensed differently, based on where and how the font itself is installed or displayed, rather than by unit volume:
Desktop License — Install and use the font in design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Procreate, etc.) on your own devices to create designs, print materials, logos, and artwork.
Webfont License — Embed the font on your own website(s) using @font-face or a similar method, so it displays for site visitors.
E-pub License — Embed the font in digital publications such as ebooks and digital magazines.
App License — Embed the font inside an app or game that you distribute or sell.
No Reselling of Original Files
Under any license tier, you may not resell, share, or redistribute the original digital files themselves — as-is, repackaged, or claimed as your own. Only finished designs and products you create using these files may be sold.
Selling Products Made With Our Designs
Personal use of a design exactly as provided is always fine. But if you plan to sell a product made using one of our designs, the design must be changed in some way — for example a different color, altered placement, or added elements — rather than sold exactly as provided.
Selling a design unmodified as your product, or mass-producing it without any changes, isn't covered under either license. This mirrors how stock design licenses are typically structured on marketplaces like Creative Market, where an end product "must be significantly different than the original item and require time, effort, and skill to produce."
